Just a House Wife?
October Movie Review
This movie tries to ask some innate questions around humanity, empathy and sensitivity that we somehow have forgotten in the blind race of being practical.
Everyone of us and our family has to deal with our pains alone. People at most come to visit you but then they go back to their “practical” life. However, among these people, there are a few who effortlessly comfort you and help you without asking anything in return. A flip side, we also get so dependent (should I say selfishly) on them that we forget about their own lives.
A patient fights a lonely battle and as long as she sees everyone around, she continues to fight with death. Having someone’s presence-only, becomes an important component to fight one’s biggest battle. But as soon as people leave, patient finds herself lonely and stops fighting.
An important movie to watch just to wake up our own sensibilities.
